"Mild, natural and clean... the citrus flavor is apparent but not overwhelmingly so. Another winner for Adagio."

When I think of citrus green tea, the first thing that comes to mind is some of the awful bottled tea I’ve had in the past. I’ve never been impressed by a bottle of citrus green tea, and thats saying a lot, because so many companies make it. The green tea is usually bitter and the citrus is usually an aftertaste that’s more like citrus lysol than anything you should actually drink. I know that bottled tea in no way compares to what I brew up myself at home, but nevertheless, given my bad experience, I can easily do without a citrus green in my life.
To reiterate from a previous review, I trust Adagio, especially with flavored greens. If I was going to try someone’s citrus green, it may as well be theirs.
Cautious but hopeful, I opened my sample and took a whiff. It smelled fresh and airy. I brewed it up and took my first sip. Another winner for Adagio.
It is pleasant and mild, and yeilds no aftertaste. It is natural and clean. They matched the strength of the citrus well with that of the green tea, as the citrus is apparent but not overwhelmingly so. The green tea is very delicate in this blend, if I had to find one fault with this, that would be it. That being said, it’d be very easy to overdo it with the citrus (thus giving it that lysol taste that I so fear) and they don’t.
This tea really surprised me. If you only try one citrus green, make it this one.
