I’m always on the lookout for a really flavorful pomegranate white (or green) tea. As far as white tea goes, I haven’t found a favorite yet. I’m looking for a sweet/tart pomegranate tea thats balanced but strong.
This tea isn’t what I hoped it’d be. I have to agree with Stephen in that, there isn’t any pomegranate taste here. What you do get is a subtle aftertaste of weak pomegranate flavor. The tea itself isn’t unpleasant or difficult to finish, its just supposed to be a flavored tea and it really isn’t.
On a positive note,it brews up a unique rose/honey-colored cup and smells delicately fruity and sweet. It is a decent cup of white tea. If you like your flavors very subtle in your tea, you’ll probably like this blend. Its also very affordable, which is always a plus. The packaging is also worth mentioning - its very colorful and sleek. I have to admit if I saw this on the shelf at a store, between the packaging and the price I would definately snatch it up. The packaging somehow shouted to me “Buy me! I’m that POW pomegranate flavor you’re looking for!”. Unfortunately it wasn’t.
I’m giving this tea a five out of ten. Not because its bad, but because it lacks the pomegranate flavor it advertises.

I really like Trader Joe’s brand Pomegranate White Tea bags. They have a great flavor, in my opinion. Slightly sour, very full of pom flavor, but the white tea flavor still happens! It also brews a really pretty pink!
