The grapefruit flavored tea from Adagio is a Ceylon tea with chunks of fruit mixed in with the tea itself. I was surprised to see on their website that this had a pretty high rating; I didn’t like it at all. I didn’t smell any grapefruit at all in the tea and what I did taste was a horrible bitter tea, and still nothing, not even the slightest taste of anything fruit or citrus. This was a very rare instance where I couldn’t even bring myself to finish the cup. This tea is extremely cheap at only $15 for an entire pound but with the taste it has the only thing I can see it as is an iced tea with loads of sugar or even trying to blend it with other teas to get a decent flavor if you’re up for it. Personally I would stay away from this tea and recommend ordering nothing bigger than a sample first if you want to try it.
