This tea has a very interesting taste and a nice, well balanced mix of flavors. I steeped 1 1/2 teaspoons of loose tea in 1 cup of water for three minutes and noticed little change in smell or color, so let it steep an additional 3 minutes and again, not much of a change so I added another 3 minutes, letting it steep a total of 9 minutes. Once steeped for this amount of time, the tea is a light golden pink. The manufacturer recommends steeping this tea for 10 minutes.
There is a very nice fragrance to the tea before use. Not much of a scent to the tea after steeping, although you can smell the hibiscus pretty well. It is packed with an unusual, yet enjoyable flavor. You can taste the chamomile quite strongly in this tea so I would recommend it for chamomile lovers, as well as most citrus tea lovers. I am not a strong lover of citrusy teas, but if I were, I would most likely enjoy this tea a lot!
