As I have mentioned previously, I grew up with my first experiences with hot tea being the basic Lipton tea bag. Because of this, I have always considered something similar to that as a breakfast tea. This morning I tried Jackson of Piccadilly’s English Breakfast. To be honest, I experienced quite a feeling of nostalgia as the aroma and taste of this particular breakfast tea appeared indistinguishable from a basic Lipton’s tea bag. That being said, it was a smooth and tasty tea that that meshed well with a little sugar and milk, but there was absolutely nothing notable that stood out.
In my opinion, Jackson of Piccadilly’s English Breakfast is a good basic tea for everyday use, but there was nothing truly special about it that made me say “I HAVE to get some more of this stuff!”
