After my disappointment with Ceylon Teas Pomegranate White, I didn’t have high hopes for this blend. Like my search for the perfect pomegranate tea, I also frequently look for a strong apricot tea. I love apricots and I think if done correctly they would pair superbly with white or green tea. Adagio’s is the best I’ve found so far of the green variety.

I’ve also tried a couple of apricot/peach teas in the past and my general consensus is that the peach almost always overpowers the apricot. It’s as if the peach flavor is much easier to infuse than the apricot, so they just don’t bother.

Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised - as both of my initial concerns weren’t realized in this tea.

Unlike Ceylon Tea’s pomegranate tea, this one has a decent amount of balanced flavor - the apricot and peach equally present, working together to provide a fresh, fruity boost to the tea. A light, sweet taste lingers on your tongue after you swallow, for a nice finish.

With the economical price and considerable flavor of this sweet smelling, golden hued tea, its a definite repurchase for me.
