This is my new favorite black(ish) tea. Mighty Leaf comes in higher quality teabags with premium tea inside them. They are the nicest teabags I have seen yet, although my experience is limited. Many teas have a nice smell out of the bag but don’t deliver on taste. Orange Dulce delivers.
Mighty Leaf describes the tea as;
Orange Dulce is a luscious, rich brew teeming with notes of bergamot, orange, vanilla and jasmine blossoms. Made with Ceylon and China black teas, Orange Dulce brews up a fragrant and full bodied dark tea. Reminiscent of an aged Port, the flavor is sure to please.
The ingredients are; Black tea, green tea, natural citrus flavors, natural flavors, jasmine flowers.
After brewing for slightly more than four minutes, the tea had a ‘sweet & sour’ aroma. It tastes like a premium orange-spice tea. The taste of orange is strong, but not overpowering. Orange Dulce has the taste of a really good basic black tea, enhanced with orange, and with a sweet aftertaste. I give this tea an 8 because I don’t think I have enough experience to give it a 9. This is definitely a tea I could drink daily.
