![]() | "A pleasant-tasting oolong, but I prefer mine with a bit more flavor than this blend provides."

I brewed this oolong on two separate occasions, as I wanted to make sure I was giving it a fair review. While the aroma of the leaves was very subtle, it reminded me more of a floral scent than anything else. The first cup seemed very weak and the flavor was so delicate that I wasn’t able to actually decipher a specific taste to it. There was nothing bad about the taste, but nothing to really distinguish it as an oolong. I then read some of the reviews that had been posted on the Adagio website and saw that a few people had stated this tea requires a longer brewing time. The second cup I brewed for closer to 7 minutes and was more pleased with the result. While still having a very light flavor, it was quite pleasant with a natural light sweetness.
I could see that it would be a nice accompaniment to a meal as the flavor would not compete with the food itself. It would also be a good tea for someone new to oolongs as a subtle introduction. Personally I prefer an oolong with a bit more distinction to the flavor.
