With winter green in the title, I assumed outright this would be a mint tea (until I realized it was a green tea). Then I thought it’d taste more like a spicy herbal. This tea is neither. More than anything, it’s a dessert tea.
It brews up very pale, with a one minute steep time. The aroma in the bag is very welcoming, smelling similar to butter cookies.
The taste overall is hard for me to describe. I can’t really detect any individual flavors. For lack of better discription, this tea is nutty and sweet.
I do want to mention that my first cup of this was better than my second. At first, the flavor was enjoyable. As I had more of it, it became a strange, much more acquired taste.
For any other vegans out there, this tea isn’t vegan. Even if it was, I wouldn’t repurchase it. Its not an awful tea, I just personally don’t like the flavor combination.
