After trying the Citron green from Adagio I was reluctant to try the Apricot green in fear that it might be just as much as a let down. Thankfully this wasn’t the case. This is still nowhere near a great tea but packs much more flavor compared to the Citron green. The tea smells like apricot and has a decent amount of flavor in it. You can absolutely taste the apricot in it and there is no bitterness at all. This is still a light cup when it comes to flavor and I really couldn’t taste any actual tea except for the added flavor that gives the tea its name. The flavoring in this one is also pretty weak and took a lot of leaf to get beyond flavored water. A simple tea that does not have much wrong with it, but it is a very simple tea nonetheless. It’s cheap though, so you could buy a pound and use double the amount of leaf to make some iced tea. I am sure that this would make quite a decent pitcher of iced tea with a good amount of sugar to sweeten it up. That is the best you are probably going to get out of this one.
