Wow. If you’re a fan of citrus-teas, and I mean a BIG fan of citrus teas, this might be the perfect iced tea for you. This brew packs a citrus punch that’ll make your cheeks tingle til’ Tuesday. For me, the citrus was a bit over the top and somewhat artificial-tasting. The best description I can give of this tea is that its like drinking a regular iced tea while sucking on a sour-lemon candy.
All in all I mostly enjoyed this tea, though I would probably add more water than the recommended brewing instructions (1 packet per 1/2 gallon) to cut the citrus overload a bit. The “artificial taste” I experienced may not actually be artificial at all - it may just be a case of pure sensory overload. Apart from the citrus flavors (orange peel with lemon and grapefruit flavoring, plus citric acid) this blend also contains rosehips, lemongrass, hibiscus, licorice root, safflower and ginger. Its a 100% herbal tea and naturally caffeine-free, so that’s an added bonus for those trying to minimize their caffeine intake.
