This tea is very good! Just to start off, I could drink this every day! The tea consists of little hand-rolled tea leaf ‘pearls’,which you pop into your cup (about 6 pearls), add water and watch them beautifully unfurl! Each of the pea-sized pearls is a tea leaf which is completely whole! I was very impressed! It is actually not insanely expensive, either! About nine dollars for a 2 ounce shipment. You can use the leaves up to 3 times it says on the site, but I wouldn’t strongly recommend it. The first brew was extremely good! The second brew was good, but had an odd taste. I don’t really know how to explain it, but the magic was gone.
The tea has a wonderful honey like jasmine color, with a light fruity/flowery smell to the brew. As for taste, it is really good! Not watered down like some jasmine teas I have tried. It has a full flavor and a very nice relaxing quality to it. I am out of it now…Sadly, when I tasted the first cup I had 4 more cups afterwards because it was so good. I did make one cup to try it iced and put some honey in it instead of sugar, and it was very good as well!
