Review: The Necessiteas Strawberry Banana Green Tea

The aroma from this blend is really spectacular - you’re hit straight off with the scent of fresh strawberries underlain with the thick and sweet hints of banana. This was my first banana-flavored tea and I have to admit I was curious whether or not the flavors I detected in the aroma would actually make it into the final brew.
Surprise, surprise. They did!
Banana flavoring can be difficult to pull off, and I’ll admit I was worried that it would be a heavily artificial-tasting experience, but that wasn’t the case at all. It was pronounced without actually being overpowering, and was quite complimentary with the rest of the blend. The strawberry flavor comes in a little later in the sip to give the blend some fruity and floral notes. The green tea used here was really just about perfectly blended for these flavors… slightly vegetal, but mostly mellow and unassuming, providing the perfect canvas for these flavors to dance upon.
I had severe reservations about this blend right off the bat - either the flavors would be excessively artificial-tasting, or the green tea would be too vegetal and potent and would either overpower or poorly compliment the strawberry and banana… but thankfully none of those came to pass.
An excellent blend, and one I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I just started drinking TheNecessiTeas tea and I have to say it is amazing. The Lemon Raspberry is one of my favorites, very light and refreshing. They have a lot to choose from and they carry some very different flavors. All the variety can make it a bit difficult at check out though, I never know what to choose. It is also nice because you get a free sample with every order.

Try the Carrot Cake tea, it tates like the real thing, except for the cream cheese frosting of course. It even has whole rasins, coconut shreds and maple crumble in it and not to mention the real carrot pieces.

I started drinking The NecessiTeas tea back in October, and it is delicious. Every tea is so flavorful, one of my favorites is Strawberry Cheesecake, it taste like the exact thing, but without the calories. I am a loyal customer to The NecessiTeas!
