adagio-peppermint.jpgSpeaking of leaves, this tea has the same qualities as most spearmints. The leaves are thoroughly crushed up and mutilated, but they do have a nice light green color to them that is nice to see in tea leaves. The smell is not very extravagant but still nice. It’s a light mint smell that lingers into your nostrils when you smell your brew. The final brew color is a deep honey color. The flavor is a lot like spearmint but without as much of the soothing, cooling qualities that spearmint possesses. Mostly just that sharp peppermint bite.It is a fairly smooth tea, you could easily down a couple cups of this tea and not realize it. The taste is a sharp peppermint flavor that seeps into every nook and cranny of your mouth, it lingers there and cools your mouth in a soothing manner as well.

This tea is a good peppermint tea if you are looking for just a basic peppermint tea and nothing to fancy. I enjoy spearmint more then peppermint and would recommend that over peppermint to any tea lover, but if you have that tea craving for peppermint then who am I to stop you?
