Thumbs up!"A naturally-sweet jasmine tea... the jasmine flavor here might be too strong for some, but I enjoyed it a great deal."

mightyleaf-mountain-spring.jpgI’ve always loved the smell of Jasmine flowers so I immediately felt drawn to give this tea a try. This tea consists of green tea and jasmine flowers. Some jasmine teas do not include the blossoms but I prefer to have them in the tea. I’m a big fan of Mighty Leaf because of their artisan tea bags. The manufacturer recommends three minutes of brewing time. I have to say that the longer you brew this tea, the better it gets.

Before brewing, you can just barely smell the jasmine blossoms in the bag. However, after brewing the smell was very strong. Some people that I have shared this tea with found the jasmine to be too strong but I think it really just depends on how much you like jasmine. It’s almost like getting aromatherapy while drinking tea!

The tea is a beautiful golden honey color. This tea has a rich flavor with a flowery aftertaste. The jasmine actually sweetened the tea so much that I have yet to use any kind of sweetener when drinking it. This is a great tea for unwinding after a long day at work. I also enjoy it as a pick-me-up on my morning commute. I would definitely recommend this tea.
