"Similar to rooibos, with a natural, honey-like sweetness... not much to say about this blend apart from the fact that I liked it."

Honeybush is actually named for the flowers of the plant, which smell like honey, rather than leaves of the plant which are harvested, cut, fermented, and than sifted into the various grades. Honeybush is surprising similar in look and taste to Rooibos although Honeybush is just a little bit sweeter. It has practically no caffeine at all and it is also rich in minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, copper, zinc, magnesium, manganese, and sodium. It is a good basic tea and you could add it to any tea or add your own flavors to it which would be very tasty. The sweet taste of this could accompany a whole range of other flavors but also has a nice taste on its own, although somewhat plain. There’s really not much else to say about this one, it is what it is and I think you would have a hard time not liking it.
