I love English Breakfast teas but am learning that they are not all created equal. The Jacksons of Piccadilly English Breakfast brews to the perfect golden amber that you would be looking for with a breakfast blend, finding what I looked for ended with the color.
While I do like my English Breakfast tea with some milk and sweetener, I like a tea that can also be enjoyed without the additions. Without the milk and sweetener this tea has an overly bitter grassy taste. With milk and sugar this tea is unremarkable and remains an overly bitter English Breakfast that I would more than likely not recommend.
So far I have been not quiet impressed with these bagged teas from Jacksons of Piccadilly, which is ok considering they have been discontinued. I look forward to trying the loose blends they are marketing now, and have hopes they will be better blended than the bagged ones I have tried this far.

I loved the breakfast blend that seems to be discontinued it was a strong tea that really got you going in the morning and was great w/ pastry. I have been trying for some time to find more of it or something similar.
