The leaves of this flavored black tea were unassuming and looked rather plain compared to most flavored teas. However, upon closer inspection they had a lovely sweet aroma. It can be best described as the creamy fresh smell of a freshly opened package of Oreo cookies. I'm a sucker for teas that have such a strong and pleasant scent. I brewed it using my new Zarafina Tea Suite and I had it on the strong black tea setting.This brew had a very nice, dark color. The sweet smell was just as evident in the brewed tea and filled the room that I made the tea in. I was pleased to find that the taste was just as good as the aroma. This is one black tea that I will never need milk or sweeteners with. I think Zoomdweebies definitely nailed the taste of coconut cream pie. It is not an overwhelming sugary sweet tea but had a mellow coconut taste that lingered in my mouth. I was able to brew this tea twice and the second steeping was even a little better than the first. I thoroughly enjoyed this tea and highly recommend it.

This has got to be my absolute favorite tea. I believe it to be the perfect cup. The aroma of the leaves is fresh and sweet and the brewed tea is just as lovely. There is no need for sweetener or milk, just plain it is perfect. Served hot, the tea is delighful, but as I am an iced tea drinker, I have to say once iced, this Coconut Cream Pie tea is phenomenal. I really cannot say how many pouches I have ordered as I go through them fast and I also make sure to hand them out for others to try. Everyone who I have shared this with agrees with me. I will be ordering this tea forever.
