"A unique flavor that's not necessarily bad, but you'll likely drink this more for the health benefits than for the taste."

Lapacho is probably something you have not heard of before unless you have seen it on Specialteas website or possibly some other places. High quality Lapacho must be 100% inner lining, although it can often be marketed from suppliers that have found it profitable to grind up the inner and outer bark together or sometimes even the entire tree. Lapacho has claims of curing terminal leukemia, arthritis, yeast and fungus infections, arrested pain, stopped athlete’s foot and cured the common cold. It also has been found to be an effective analgesic, sedative, decongestant, diuretic and hypertensive. There are also studies that point toward it being a possible fighter of cancer and AIDS. I have provided a link at the bottom for further information about the health benefit, but onto the tea…
Specialteas Lapacho is 100% pure inner lining of the South American Lapacho Tree. I brewed this tea and it came to an almost orange kind of color with a golden hint. The smell is pretty much exactly the same as the taste, which is a truly unique one by itself but at the same time reminds me of something that I just can’t place (in fact its almost like the taste of the Nik-L-Nips wax after the flavor is gone). This is something you will buy for the health benefits rather than the flavor for, although the flavor isn’t bad it’s just not something I would find someone drinking everyday. Everywhere I have seen it being sold they recommend to mix it with other tea which I think would be the best use for this one. You can get the great health benefits and just mix it in with whatever flavor of tea you might want.

You could also just search Lapacho on your favorite search engine; I found plenty of websites on Google.
