Since I drink so many cups a day, I’ve been looking for a faster and easier way to brew tea. I had been using traditional mesh strainers and tea filters which can be both messy and inconvenient, especially when making a cup for my morning commute. There are a ton of electric tea kettles and infusers on the market but I really wanted a tea maker that offered more. I believe that I have found that in Zarafina Tea Suite. I like it because it isn’t huge in size or super complicated. I managed to put it together correctly without reading the directions which says a lot.

I love that it has different settings for black, oolong, green, white and herbal teas. You can also choose between loose and bagged tea as well as how strong you would like your brew to be. I could definitely tell a difference between the strong and mild versions of the teas I used. I am the only tea drinker in my house so I love the fact that it only brews two small cups at a time, there is even an option to brew just one cup. It is also perfect for when I have a friend over. I have read negative reviews, mostly having to do with complaints about water temperature. I felt that the water was just as hot as it is when I use a traditional tea kettle.

I brewed a total of ten cups today and it held up like a champ. It worked equally well with green, white and a flavored black tea. The only complaint that I have is that the infuser basket is a little hard to clean out, but that is largely because my very old sink cannot handle tea leaves. I highly recommend this tea maker to anyone who is a fan of loose teas. It is definitely worth the higher price tag.
