I have to admit, I was scared to try this tea, between other reviews, my previous experience with Jacksons of Piccadilly, and simply the rather unappealing packaging I was scared to ruin a night of tea tasting! When I finally got up the nerve to try this tea, the first part of the experience was working to confirm my fears, it had the same smell and astringency that I have noticed with the other teas I’ve tried from Jacksons of Piccadilly
However, after the first sip or two this tea began to improve and grow upon me. It has a nice nutty taste with a fruity aftertaste that I found enjoyable. While I enjoyed this tea I think it would be better used in a blend with other teas. I was also concerned that upon opening this package dust particles fell out, while I usually have no problems with bagged teas, it is nice when tea bags have more than dust in them.
