"Another tasty blend from Indonique... the peach and ginger flavor is bold and compliments this full-leaf oolong nicely."
|
When Indonique first contacted us they were primarily pushing their line of chai blends, but I have to say that I’ve been really blown away by many of their other, more traditional blends. I reviewed earlier their Extra Fine Earl Grey, which remains one of the absolute best Earls Grey I’ve ever sampled, and several other Teaviews staff writers have lavished high praise on some of their other blends. I had only one small pouch of sample tea (Ginger Peach Oolong) left this morning from their original shipment and so I decided to give it a go.
And once more, we have a winner.
This oolong blend is made up of tightly-rolled leaves, which gradually unfurl into mostly full-leaf tea - so be sure to use just a teaspoonful at most per serving, these suckers really expand in the brew. The peach and ginger are both readily apparent in the aroma, and they last through to the final taste, which is bold and vibrant on the tongue. I thoroughly enjoyed this blend, though in multiple infusions the flavoring disappears and it becomes a bit less interesting.
