I was really impressed by this tea before I even took my first sip. I could clearly see the bits of carrots and smell the sweet spiciness of it. I brewed this tea using my Zarafina tea suite, set on strong herbal. The color was pretty much the same as any other rooibos, maybe slightly more orange than the usual red. The wonderful smell became even stronger once they were brewed.
NecessiTeas states the ingredients as including organic rooibos, real carrot, cinnamon, and walnuts. The rooibos’ sweet and nutty flavor was a perfect compliment to the other ingredients. Carrot Cake is a great name for this tea because that is exactly what it tastes like. If you are a fan of this tea’s namesake then I am sure that you will love it as much as I do. It is no wonder that it is this manufacturer’s most popular dessert tea.
