I was really excited to try this tea because I have never tried a fruit tea before. I could smell this tea before I even opened the bag it came in. I brewed it using my Zarafina tea suite, set to strong herbal. The color of this tea is an amazing deep red color. The closest thing I find to describe it is liquid Jell-O. My entire kitchen was filled with the smell of it and my family all wanted to know what goodies I was cooking.
The manufacturer lists the ingredients as including strawberry, kiwi, and apple bits with rose hip peels and hibiscus. I was initially surprised at the taste of this tea. It was sweet but had a really tangy finish to it. But then I realized that strawberries taste much the same way. I think with just a tad bit of sugar this tea is perfect. I didn’t really detect any creaminess in this tea, but that was not a deal breaker for me. I will definitely have to purchase it for myself so that I can try it as an iced tea next time.
