"Wonderfully-blended, this is a mint tea that's just about perfect for relaxing evenings or as a quick pick-me-up when you're sick."

For some unknown reason, my allergies and asthma have been acting up more than normal for the past couple of months. This was on my mind as I was deciding on a tea to sample this evening. When I opened the container and took a whiff of Adagio’s Casablanca Twist, I was pretty certain I had found a winner! Of course I know by now that a delightful aroma alone does not always translate into a delightful cup of tea. I noticed that the leaves here appeared to be smaller pieces than some of the greens I have been trying lately, and they did not appear to increase much in size once I added the hot water. But the small leaves were completely infused with the mint. If anything, the spearmint aroma increased once I added the water.
My first sip of this tea proved that the taste was every bit as delightful as the aroma had suggested. After just a few sips, the minty flavor was so relaxing that I actually felt like I was breathing easier. The mint is most certainly the primary taste sensation with this one. This is a little unusual to me as I usually find that the flavor of green tea is most dominant even in flavored green teas. I can see why Casablanca Twist appears to have such a devoted following. This is a tea that I would describe as comforting when not feeling your best I can see that it is also a great green tea to have on hand for anytime, but I can especially see it being a relaxing blend for evenings.
