I had really high hopes for this tea. I have enjoyed the other Zoomdweebie’s samples that I have tried, especially the coconut cream pie. The leaves had a sweet aroma, just like watermelon flavored bubble gum. The brew had a nice golden color to it. The first time I tried this tea I used my Zarafina tea suite and the second time I used an ordinary tea filter and boiling water.
However, I have to say that I was not impressed. I found this tea to be bitter with an unpleasant aftertaste. I was unable to taste any of that wonderful fruity aroma. I think this might have been a much better tea if a higher quality green tea was used. It just didn’t have that smooth vegetal taste that we all know and love it green teas. I would not recommend this tea.
