"Refreshing and smooth with a sweet flowery aroma that adds to the flavor rather than detracts... calming, soothing and exotic."

A few weeks ago, my mother ordered a pot of jasmine tea at a local teahouse. I have always shied away from jasmine tea. It sounded weird! And so very untea-like! Despite the gallons of tea I drink, this one has always eluded me. The first thing I always do is inhale the aroma of the tea I am going to drink. Therefore, I inhaled the aroma of the jasmine green tea. I almost swooned! It was so delightfully intoxicating - sweet like flowers with a hint of refreshing greens. They should really market this fragrance as a perfume. Then I sipped it, expecting bitterness. Again, I was pleasantly surprised. It is refreshing and smooth with a sweet flowery aroma that adds to the flavor rather than detracts. As soon as we arrived home, I ordered some online and have been drinking it ever since. I love the strong scent that belies the delicate flavor. It feels calming, soothing, exotic, and yes, very tea-like. It also might inspire me to plant a jasmine tree outside my window. It really smells that good.
