Review: The Necessiteas Caramel Dipped Apple
Apple Tea, Caramel Tea, Green Tea, The Necessiteas Add comments"Brews up to a milky-green liquor, very sweet all on its own... the taste is like a mild mulled cider. Very tasty."

From The Necessiteas’ web site:
This is a lovely blend of green tea and caramel, accented with apple bits. This tea reminds me of theme parks as a child eating a sweet and sticky caramel dipped apple.
I’ve never been a particular fan of candied apples, but I do know I enjoyed this tea quite a bit. Apple-flavored teas are few and far between, but the rare blends I’ve tried are often extremely tart. This isn’t the case here at all. There are big, juicy-looking bits of apple in this blend, but they’re either not particularly tart or their tartness is being offset by the inclusion of a caramel-flavored sweetener. Either way, its great - you get a definite apple taste but you don’t have to pucker-up with every sip.
The final brew is sort of a milky-green color, like the louche in a well-prepared absinthe. It brews up quite sweet all on its own, so definitely don’t add any sweeteners here. I don’t know if this blend necessary brings to mind candied apples - for me its more reminiscent of a sweet mulled cider. Either way, its quite good and I would recommend it.
