I was hoping this blend wouldn’t be like the watermelon green of Zoomdweebies, but it’s pretty similar.
The smell is wonderful. It’s as green apple as it gets. Once brewed, though, you can smell that vegetal green tea that just doesn’t go well with fruit flavors. Upon tasting, that vegetal scent is confirmed, and like the watermelon green, it also has a bitter bite no matter how you steep it.
There is green apple flavor here, but it’s a bit overpowered by the vegetal, slightly smokey green tea. If you brew it for more than a minute, it’s actually pretty undrinkable.
I’d recommend this tea if you like vegetal teas with a slight hint of flavor, but I’ll be staying away from this one.
