"An extremely bitter and astringent brew that tastes uncomfortably similar to Pine-sol detergent. I could barely finish my cup."

My TeaZone tally now consists of one great tea (the cinnamon apricot tisane), and one pretty bad one.
The tea smells earthy and slightly lemony, not alarming or pleasing, but neutral. I’ve enjoyed every tea I’ve had recently with similar ingredients, and expected the same result from this one.
Not the case, as the first thing that came to mind when I took a sip was lemon Pinesol.
There is a tiny pinch of ginger to be found in this blend, but the rest just screams astringency. The artificial lemon taste is terrible, and it was hard to finish my cup.
I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Even if you love lemons, the flavor here seems far to artificial to enjoy.
