This blend is indeed refreshing, like the Special Teas website suggests. It has a faint, tropical scent that is uplifting and slightly sweet. The mostly floral ingredients in this blend make it something I’d usually pass up, but something made me want to give it a try, and I’m glad I did.
This tea tastes more fruity than floral, though it definitely has floral elements as well. Both flavors are subtle and pair really well with the sweet rooibos tea. I normally prefer tea with stronger flavors, but I’ll definitely be purchasing more of this. I’m anxious to brew it as iced tea, as I think that will make it all the more refreshing. If I’m right, this may be my go-to iced tea for the hot, southern summer months (bound to be here before I know it).
