I first discovered my love of tea through flowering teas so I was really excited to give this tea a try. The silvery ball looked promising, with the bit of jasmine flowers visible on the bottom. I brewed it using a glass tea pot and boiling water from a run-of-the-mill tea kettle. Just4Tea does not specifically state which variety of tea leaves were used. It looked and tasted like green tea so I will assume that is what it was.
It’s not a horrible tea but I found it to be rather tasteless and bland. I could just barely taste the jasmine. Most jasmine teas have that signature sweet taste and floral aroma. This tea had none of that. It was a little odd because it blooms upside down, in comparison to all of the other flowering teas that I have tried. I probably would not purchase this tea for these reasons.
