I’ve always been a fan of Rooibos, so I was really excited when my local supermarket started carrying this tea. The leaves have a wonderful woodsy aroma and the brew has the signature reddish color that Rooibos is known for. I usually brew it using my Zarafina tea suite, set to strong herbal. Rooibos is an herbal plant that is grown in South Africa. Adagio states that they use only top-grade organic African tea.
I have found this tea to be robust but sweet in flavor. I’ve never felt the need to add any kind of sweeteners to it. This tea is one of the few that is consistently in the rotation. I love that it is caffeine-free. It makes a great before bed treat. I would definitely recommend this tea.
