I like the way this tea smells compared to other peppermint teas. I know peppermint is peppermint, but in some brands, I detect an exceedingly sweet “candy cane” scent (of course, that isn’t unpleasant). This tea has a very crisp and natural aroma, more like fresh garden mint than a peppermint candy. It is about the mintiest peppermint leaf tea I’ve ever tasted! My mouth was instantly cold despite the hot tea. Again, it is a very natural green peppermint flavor. My opinion is that it is the perfect after dinner tea, especially if you consumed a heavy and flavorful meal. It thoroughly cleanses the palate. However, I drank this in the evening, on a relatively empty stomach, and the mint was just a little too strong for that; it created a slight burning sensation. Because I love anything minty, I’d definitely drink this again, but in the right situation.
