"A well-blended green tea with just a hint of a citrusy, grapefruit-zing... sweet all on its own and perfect for a morning cuppa."
|
Some time ago I had a brief infatuation with Adagio’s Grapefruit tea, which was a mix of black tea and quite intense grapefruit flavoring. At first it was new and different and exciting, but after a few successive brews I became less and less enamoured with it. The main problem was the intense bitterness.
Thankfully, that bitterness isn’t present in this delightfully delicious blend from Lupicia. This green-tea blend has a wonderful aroma of grapefruit, with just a twinge of grapefruit flavor actually making it to the palette. Once again there is a hint of unique sweetness in this blend that I seem to have found so far in all tea-bag versions of Lucipia tea, which helps to draw out the flavor. I enjoyed this blend and would not hesitate to recommend it to others who enjoy citrus-flavored green teas.
