"A very good jasmine pearl tea, with the convenience of a tea bag."
|
Recently, I started gulping down jasmine tea on a regular basis. The one thing I’ve observed so far is that most of them taste similar. There is nothing remarkable or unremarkable about this one. It has that wonderful flower and candy aroma I’ve come to love. The leaves are curled up into little “pearls” and unfurl prettily to create a delicious and quite strong jasmine tea. But, I can’t say it’s better than any other jasmine pearl tea I’ve tried. It’s just…the same. Maybe there is one out there just waiting to astound me. That being said, of course I loved it. It’s jasmine tea and it’s become one of my go-to teas lately. If I place an order here, I’ll buy it. If I place an order at Specialteas, I’ll buy theirs.
There is something to be said about the TeaPigs website (and name, for that matter!). The descriptions of their teas are witty and amusing. I really enjoyed reading about the jasmine pearls and why they’re called “Dragon Phoenix Pearls”. It was clever and insightful. It added another tidbit of knowledge to this tea lover, so thanks!
