I was very excited to try this tea, as I've never seen a blend quite like it before. We were off to a very good start when I opened the bag and the amazingly cakey aroma hit my nose. I couldn't believe that it actually smelled like cake, with it's highly sweet, slightly spicy scent.Necessiteas has a great track record with me (and pretty much everyone else), and this is another wonderful blend from them.
Like the scent, the flavor of this tea is also cake-like. It's pretty amazing that you get that flavor from something that has no calories. You can taste the carrots in it, giving it a really fresh taste. When drinking this tea, you can taste slightly spicy undertones like cinnamon, but they didn't really hit me until I swallowed the blend. It leaves a sweet-cinnamon bite on your tongue that really completes the experience.
This is one of the best teas I've ever had. If you like sweet/desert teas, you've got to try this.
