AThis is quite light. A bit like their Pinhead Gunpowder in its leanings toward brothiness, but much less so. This would be a good precursor to gunpowders, for those who prefer lighter flavors to begin with, before they move on to the stronger teas. The dried tea are in long, flat shards that turn into soft, mossy green scented leaves. The aroma in the cup is nearly nonexistant, and the body is quite light, which would make this a great everyday green tea, though I’m not sure I would recommend this to green tea novices who might not appreciate its vegetal qualities. I like this well enough, but its similarities to pinhead gunpowder just make me want a cup of that instead. This tea benefits from a shorter steeping time, to avoid the sharper aftertaste that comes out otherwise.
