"A fragile, light-bodied green tea with a pleasant, dry finish. "

The first thing I noticed was how much the leaves have in common with white tea. The soft green shoots, though a bit flatter, have that white down over them and are a bit drier, but still look similar to me. The first few sips are delicate and refreshing. The characteristic vegetal flavors are there though the lightness of the body evens it out a bit, making this tea a bit more user-friendly than other green teas. I’m not sure how hot beverages can be refreshing (rather than warming) but this is cooling somehow and a great midday choice, calming and slightly energizing in the same moment. The fragility persists through the end, with only a slight pleasant dry finish. This is something I would serve to a potential in-law who requested a green tea—an accomodating, pleasant drink for most.
