"Malty, smooth, sweet and fresh-tasting, this is an exceptional black tea, well worth the price."

I received this sample as Vanessa from Teaviews suggested. I really thought it was delicious. It has a unique and elusive flavor that is different from most black teas I’ve tried lately.
The aroma is the freshest I’ve ever encountered. Despite the leaves being in a silk tea bag, they retained that just-picked quality. In fact, I inhaled the fragrance to the point I felt dizzy. It is truly like aromatherapy. It also sets the drinker up for the taste.
This tea is very malty, smooth, and sweet. By malty, I don’t mean smoky or thick. No, the flavor of this tea runs very deep and crisp with no harsh aftertaste. The website claims it to be “full-bodied” which it is. There is no shallow taste here; it incorporates all your taste buds to give it that special kick. What I really loved about it was the slightly sweet aftertaste. It wasn’t due to any sweetener I added because I always drink tea plain. It was a natural characteristic that was light years away from the all-to-common bitter astringency in some other brews.
Despite it being a straight up black tea, I felt it shared some similarities with perhaps a high quality oolong.
I have never had such a fresh, sweet, and delicious tea in a teabag before Tetulia. I highly recommend this if you are in the market for a new black tea. At 9.99 for 16 silken teabags, it’s definitely worth the price.
