I love mint teas so I was really looking forward to having a refreshing minty cup on a hot and humid day. Rishi lists the ingredients as including Organic cardamom, Organic Fair Trade Certifiedâ„¢ peppermint, Organic ginger, Organic Fair Trade Certifiedâ„¢ green tea, Organic licorice root, Organic fennel, Organic clove and Organic black pepper. I brewed this tea using my Zarafina teamaker set on strong green. The liquor was a golden color and smelled wonderful. This blend was exotic tasting and a little spicier than I expected from a mint tea. The liquorish adds a nice sweet flavor without being overbearing. I could have done without the black pepper because I'm not a big spice person. When I do have spices in my tea I prefer to have them in a good quality black tea rather than in a green tea, as they are in this selection. This tea wasn't quite for me but I would recommend it to others.
