Troy’s Teaview Snapshot

This wasn't at all the powerhouse I was expecting. Maybe my palette is too coarse, perhaps my tastebuds were on their union mandated break, or maybe I was just expecting too much. Everything about this tea screamed quality. This is a Oolong tea, hanging well towards the green tea side of the spectrum. Describing something as an Oolong tea, in my opinion, is fairly useless. When it comes to the flavor of the end product all Oolong tells you is that its somewhere in the vast divide between green and black. This was more towards the green tea side of things. It was a full bodied, traditional green tea, but something about it just didn't match the aroma of the dry leaves, or the apparent quality of the same. I'm not saying that this was at all a bad tea, it wasn't, but don't get your hopes up until after you've had a sip or you'll be sorely disappointed.
