If it were possible to become a jasmine drug addict, I would have become one by now. I love the scent of this tea, which is a bit sweeter and greener than others, seeming more complex and a bit darker than the usual, however tasty, clean and fresh jasmine teas. The dried round buds unfurl into elegant strands of pale and dark green leaves. Once poured I didn’t notice much aroma until I had taken a mouthful. I’m not sure how a person tastes scent, but there it is—floral, sweet, subtly green, with a creamy and more substantive body than other jasmine teas I’ve tried. I can almost imagine biting down into a pile of scented white leaves, sweet and pillowy soft, with green centers. Nothing is overpowering, yet the body and mouth-filling taste and aroma are noteworthy. The only thing that would make this a dreamy tea would be a more apparent scent from the cup. This is a great tea for any jasmine lover who would really like to taste jasmine, rather than green.
