After having Necessiteas strawberry banana green tea, I was really looking forward to trying this blend. I've had nothing but wonderful tea from them, and they continue to impress with this one.Like the strawberry banana, this tea is delicate and clean. So many flavored green teas tend to have a bitter bite to them, or the flavors just aren't paired well with the type of green tea they're using. The result is a mis-matched blend that just doesn't work. The Necessiteas doesn't have this problem at all. Their flavored green tea is smooth and perfectly paired.
Not only is the green tea in perfect harmony with the fruit flavors in this tea, but the lemon and raspberry are also perfectly blended with each other. You experience the two flavors as one rather than individually at different times in your sip, and to me that's another sign of master blending.
This tea ends on a sweet note, leaving a kiss of fruitiness on your tongue that lingers pleasantly, and isn't too tart. As a bonus, the scent of this blend is uplifting and refreshing, making it an all-around great cup.
