This is not a blend, this is a straight tea. A highly oxidized oolong that needs to be steeped properly to enjoy. Steeping in an automatic gadget does not do this tea justice! Steeping this tea in a nice teapot with a strainer basket works fine, at 2 grams per cup, 190 degrees, for 3 minutes. There is a smoky flavor, but it shouldn't be overpowering and all the subtleties come through just fine. One of our bestselling, most popular teas, and one of my all-time fave daily drinkers.
