All Revolution tea comes in a very cool looking bag. The bag is clear and the tea can be seen clearly in the infuser. All Revolution teas use the same material for the infusers. It is really pretty nifty. Revolution teas are not sold loose and only come in infusers for individual cups or pots of tea.The tea has an incredible smell right out of the box. The ingredients include white tea, pear bits, and natural pear flavor. The aroma of the tea is strong, sweet, and has a perfume like quality. The pear smell is wonderful. I am excited and I look forward to trying this tea.
Brewing:
Hot Brewed: About 12 ounces of water for four and half minutes (not on the timer).
Taste/Impressions:
Sometimes teas with wonderful aromas don't translate that smell into a positive taste experience. This tea is not in that category. The tea has a wonderful taste full of pear with a sweet essence. The first taste has a nice strong pear flavor. Then the tea has a nice sweet middle to it. And finally, the taste has a hint of the fragrance that is clear in the smell. The aftertaste is long and pleasant. This tea will be nice for times that you want something flavored and a bit sweet.
I didn't get the chance to try this tea cold but I bet this would be a great iced. It wouldn't need any sweetening and would provide a fun taste. I bet guests would ask for seconds or thirds on a nice hot night.
Conclusion:
The tea has a wonderful sweetness and an alluring fragrance. This is a great tea for evenings or other occasions for a flavored, sweet taste. If you like flavored whites this is worthy of consideration and one I highly recommend.
