There is something nostalgic about the aroma. It takes me back to my childhood - sweet smells and innocent thoughts. The taste brings notes of banana, but then the cocoa kicks in, and instead of innocent, it begins to feel decadent. There is nothing artificial about the taste. You might as well be drinking tea next to a sack of bananas and cocoa beans. Surprisingly, though, the flavors do not overwhelm the tea, providing a not too sweet, mellow experience. I did not expect this tea to be so pleasant. When I read banana and chocolate I expect a sweetness level more appropriate to iced tea. Instead, I get a thoroughly adult, thoroughly satisfying blend that relaxes me with innocence past, and peacefulness of the present.
