rishi-bao-zhong.jpgRishi’s Bao Zhong is a Taiwanese specialty Oolong. Rishi was the tea company that won first place for organic tea in the 2008 World Tea Championship at the World Tea Expo a couple months ago. The tea has a slight floral aroma. You can see the uncut, large when infused. The brew has a strong, but pretty yellow color. Bao Zhong’s taste is more on the green side of oolong (less oxidized flavor) with a delicate taste but not overly grassy like some green teas. There was a lingering sweetness on my tongue.

This is recommended for someone who likes a mild Oolong with a flower garden-like aroma.
