"There's a surprising, wonderful oven-baked undertone to this tea that really makes it stand out from other chai blends. It tastes like someone sprinkled snickerdoodle crumbs in your cup."

My first expirience with Slo Chai was interesting and positive. I prefer my chai flavorful and spicy-this is the first blend I've had that's mild for my taste, yet still completely satisfying. No one spice stands out in the aroma or taste of this tea, they all come together for a mild, cozy cup. There's a surprising, wonderful oven-baked undertone to this tea that really makes it stand out from other chai blends. It tastes like someone sprinkled snickerdoodle crumbs in your cup.
Like the spices, the black tea is also mild and will not get bitter, which I love. For my second cup, I left the tea bags in there just to see how strong the blend would become with a longer steep time. An hour later (in a nicely insulated mug) the tea was still smooth and just slightly more potent than before. I love low maitenance tea for work that will taste good no matter how rushed the preparation is.
Whether you like your chai full flavored or toned down, I think this blend is worth a try. It's the first mild chai blend I'll reorder.
