This tea is not as intriguing as it sounds. The thin, pale green shoots exude a lightly fragrant, herbaceous scent that is quite nice. The leaves are mostly whole and broken bits that do best when steeped for a short amount of time, to avoid bitterness or dryness. The pale liquid is a standard, nice green, but not as nice as this company's other teas, or other greens out there. The body is light to medium, and is accompanied by a light aroma. Some teas foster contemplation, inspiration, or any other wonderful emotion, but this isn't doing any one of those things for me. Ok, but I'd recommend something else.
